A woman was robbed early yesterday evening when she was putting her groceries in her car in the parking lot of the Giant Food store on Bay Ridge Road.
According to police, she was approached from behind by an adult male suspect. The man displayed a knife and pushed the woman aside to grab her purse inside the vehicle. The suspect fled on foot to the rear of the shopping center and was not located. by officers.
