Annapolis police are investigating an armed robbery that took place yesterday afternoon in the usually quiet West Annapolis.
According to police, the adult male victim was walking in the area of the 700 block of Melvin Avenue around 545pm when he was approached from behind by two adult male suspects. One suspect appeared to have a knife and told the victim not to move. Both suspects went through the victim’s pockets and stole a white Apple iPhone 5, a brown leather wallet, and a wedding ring set. The suspects ran off and the victim went to the police station to report the robbery.
