At least two shots were fired in the parking lot of the Bay Ridge Plaza at the intersection of Bay Ridge Avenue/Bay Ride Road/Forest Drive and Hillsmere Drive. Both Annapolis and Anne Arundel County police were on the scene.
Officers on the scene would not release any information. Eye On Annapolis observed officers questioning the employees of the Exxon, Bay Ridge Wine & Spirits, and Dominoes Pizza. There did not appear to be anyone shot or injuries as there was no fire or EMS presence.
Patrons of the newly opened Annapolis Smokehouse report that they were ordered to remain in the restaurant until the scene was cleared.
